Cuba is a country stuck in time.

With a popular revolution seeing the end to a series of corrupt despots in the 60's, the leader's reforms put them in conflict with the United States.

Cutting off the primary market of their major export, sugar, Cuba's economy was devastated and visible signs of this legacy can be seen everywhere in the absence of infrastructure and the lack of maintenance.

Despite this, Cuba has an unrivalled spirit, combining great pride, beauty and simplicity of living.
